Le Maillon

Le Maillon's performances reflect the contemporary scene in drama, dance, circus, music and visual arts, both in France and abroad.

Le Maillon enjoys a national and international reputation for its artistic commitment and the close relationship the artists enjoy with the public. Le Maillon is constantly reaching out to explore the contemporary scene in drama, dance, circus, music and visual arts. It has a 600 seat auditorium, and another with 150 seats, an exhibition hall as well as a bar serving drinks and snacks, which sometimes stages impromptu events in addition to the scheduled programme. Performances are also staged in other theatres in Strasbourg and in Offenbourg.

Le Maillon has been working for the last seven years with the TNS National Theatre and the two companies jointly stage the 4-day Festival Premières, featuring young European directors at the forefront of European creation.
